Chain Fail

First MTB ride of the year and a broken chain. Seriously who breaks a chain on a single speed. Lets hope this is not a omen for bad things to come this season.

The weekend is almost here, should be nice enough to get out Friday and Sunday. Other than that ill be building some hybrids and finishing Butter's new steed at MOs.

Tuesday Intervals Begin

As usual Tuesdays are interval/suffering days among the Team Bonk crew. I've decided to get them rolling again early this year, unfortunately I suffered alone today. Schuster hill climb it was, with the wind out of the east there was little time for recovery between sets. 4 climbs and I was toast.

This past weekend brought a close to the snowboarding season, and a lovely ride with slow29er on Sunday. Slow29er's fear of salty roads upon his plastic roadie forced us to ride bikes that really shouldn't be ridden more than 10 miles on the road, however the roads were clean and we pushed out 28 miles anyways.

Cold and windy...

Today was a cold and windy ride on the road bike. The tailwind on the way home made all the suffering worth it though. Check out the near 500 mph on the trip stats, amazzzzing.

Weekend Ridding?

Weather looks good for a Saturday ride... Anyone in? I'll either be ridding the road bike or a fixed gear depending on how nasty the roads still are.

A rainy bike season it will be

When you stock up on brake pads you are automatically dooming the season to be wet and sloppy, but for 2 bucks a pair who can blame me. I apologize to all of you who are too wimpy to ride your bike in anything but the most perfect weather.

Spring is now only 4.5 weeks away, get pumped...

Weekday Crosstraining

As lame as it is being a broke college student, I get the privilege of spending weekdays doing whatever it is I want. Well except for all the damn classwork. Today was a ridiculously awesome day of XC skiing. All you 9-5ers got nuthin...
